Bovey is "Not Your Average, Ordinary Cat"! He's a hybrid Bobcat, and in 2005, Bovey was entered in Lake Havasu's "Best Friend Photo Contest". Bovey won two awards: "Lake Havasu's Most Photogenic Cat" and "Lake Havasu's Best Feline Friend".
Bovey is now 14 years old and has been part of my family since he was just five weeks old. He is very people-oriented and loves to have visitors. Owning a hybrid Bobcat is a lifetime commitment and is not for everyone. One must understand their cat completely to maintain a close relationship with them. They require an alert owner who is sensitive and caring, one who uses psychology over heavy-handedness in raising them. They form a bond of trust only with their surrogate parent-human.
